Women Aware began 30 years ago by a small group of volunteers. Their goal was to help women in abusive relationships in a time when little help existed. Women Aware is the only domestic violence agency serving Middlesex County. Women Aware continues to work along side of our volunteers. We are proud of the dedication and commitment the volunteers have made to Women Aware and the victims of domestic abuse. And they work very hard to help us in our efforts to end domestic violence. We want to continue the wonderful relationship we have, a relationship we depend on for success. We offer a number of volunteer opportunities to suit the needs of those wanting to help.
