Women Aware Inc. of Middlesex County, NJ is seeking a part time, bilingual Spanish Adult Counselor/Clinical Supervisor for their PALS Program. Peace: A Learned Solution (PALS) is a creative arts therapy program designed to empower and heal families who have witnessed domestic violence.
Job Description:
The Adult Counselor/Clinical Supervisor is a direct service position that is responsible for scheduling and conducting formal intakes within the PALS program, providing individual and group counseling with adult victims of domestic violence.
Provide referrals, resources, and advocacy work.
Maintain program paperwork, statistics, and documentation.
Provide clinical supervision for interns and support group facilitators.
Requirements:
Masters degree in social work, counseling, or a related discipline. LCSW preferred.
Minimum 2 years supervisory experience.
Bilingual Spanish
Part Time (with partial benefits): Monday through Thursday (evenings)
Salary Range: According to experience
Responsible to: PALS Program Director

Intake Coordinator/Transportation Worker (Full time, Bilingual Spanish)
Women Aware Inc. of Middlesex County, NJ is seeking a full time, bilingual Spanish Intake Coordinator/Transportation Worker for their PALS Program. Peace: A Learned Solution (PALS) is a creative arts therapy program designed to empower and heal families who have witnessed domestic violence.
Job Description:
The Intake Coordinator/Transportation Worker is a direct service position that is responsible for conducting initial phone screening of clients, scheduling initial intakes and conducting formal intakes within the PALS program, for Women Aware support groups and FVO risk assessments. Provide safe transportation for children and their parent/guardian to and from their PALS Program appointments as needed. Maintain program paperwork and documentation.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Basic reading & writing skills
Bilingual Spanish
Valid NJ Drivers License and clean driving record.
Experience with trauma populations preferred.
Full Time (with benefits):Monday through Thursday (evenings)
Salary Range: According to experience
