Happy Domestic Violence Awareness Month

This month we celebrate your support for survivors. Thanks to you, Women Aware has proudly:

– Served 1 out of every 8 survivors of domestic violence in New Jersey by providing over 9,000 nights of safe refuge;

– Sheltered 1 out of every 3 mobility-impaired survivors in the state;

– Answered 4,800 hotline calls, obtained over 600 orders of protection, assisted 20% of children’s counseling in N.J., and delivered over 5 times more services to survivors compared to the state average.
