Women Aware has been selected as a beneficiary of the Stop & Shop Community Bag Program for the month of June. The Stop & Shop Community Bag Program, which launched in May 2019, is a reusable bag program that facilitates community support with the goal to make a difference in the communities where shoppers live and work.

Women Aware was selected as the June beneficiary of the program by store leadership at the Stop & Shop located at 424 Raritan Avenue in Highland Park, NJ. Women Aware will receive a $1 donation every time the $2.50 reusable Community Bag is purchased at this location during the month of June, unless otherwise directed by the customer through the Giving Tag attached to the bag.

Women Aware is happy to announce that our Legal Advocacy department is now co-located at the New Jersey Prosecutor’s Office. Wells Fargo presented a $1,550 check to Women Aware on Wednesday. Support from generous donors, like Wells Fargo, allows Women Aware to continue providing safety and services to all victims of domestic violence, including underserved, low-income, and minority families. Thank you for helping survivors move beyond abuse.
