Leah is a Domestic Violence Resource Advocate in Women Aware’s emergency shelter. She is inspired by many people in her life, but feels a special connection to her grandfather Jack and his mother Leah (her namesake). Leah is moved by their persistence to keep going and do what is right despite living incredibly hard lives and facing barriers along the way. Boston, MA is her favorite place and she would like to make it her home one day. In the meantime, there are many places on Leah’s “To Visit” bucket list. Next up? Oregon.
